Quality Management and Studies

To ensure the coordination of the activities carried out within the framework of the BCS, to comply with the requirements of the Quality Management System and to fulfil the duties assigned in relation to these requirements when necessary,

To comply with the conditions determined in terms of occupational safety and to request the necessary special measures to be taken in this regard,

To follow the quality objectives, targets and directional studies, to follow and ensure the currency of the procedures, instructions and other documents in the quality management system,

To determine and control the conformity of new documentation drafts with national and international standards,

To supervise the compliance of the activities carried out with the Quality Management System and to make necessary interventions,

To make research on new quality approaches and to develop suggestions,

To conduct new research and studies on patient safety and employee safety procedures, to plan, implement and evaluate the results in accordance with the institution and departments,

To ensure the initiation and coordination of corrective and preventive actions regarding the non-conforming service and to work in coordination with the units to eliminate the non-conformities identified

To plan and follow the hospital quality improvement programme,

To work with the Quality Management Representative in the development of quality criteria,

} To make research on new quality approaches and to develop suggestions,

To participate in the work of the committee in the hospital when necessary and to assist in its activities,

To ensure that the committee meeting minutes are prepared by the committee secretaries in the appropriate format and arrangement,

To organise the communication of the Quality Directorate with other units,

To ensure that the meeting reports of the Quality Directorate are kept regularly and archived,

To create, publish and ensure the follow-up of self-assessment and all other planning of the hospital,

To analyse patient and employee satisfaction surveys and create a final report, to record the data in the “Ministry of Health Corporate Quality System”, to identify areas open to improvement in line with the findings of the surveys and to present suggestions for improvement to the management,

To ensure the coordination of the activities carried out within the scope of BCS, to evaluate the analyses made on a departmental basis, to manage self-assessments and indicators, to evaluate the results of patient and employee surveys, to control the written regulations prepared within the scope of BCS, to follow the revision of written regulations, to evaluate statistical information on service delivery, to participate as a member in the committees within the scope of BCS, to manage the processes related to risk management

To inspect and report whether the Quality Management System is implemented effectively or not,

To liaise with external organisations and obtain information on matters concerning the Quality Management System,

To manage the processes related to the Unwanted Event system,
